Are there any special instructions when installing the mounts?
We recommend using anti seize on any of the bolts and nuts that you are using to install the mounts, this prevents galling (seizing).
Do you include tools to install my mount?
No, our mounts use common size hex keys that you likely already have. As well as common hand tools: drill, drill bits, wrenches, etc
Mount hardware specifications (all stainless steel)
- Extreme Mount arm machine screws: 3/8" x 16 x 1 3/4" long. Hex key: 7/32"
- Pro Mount arm machine screws: 5/16" x 18 x 1 1/2" long. Hex key: 3/16"
- Gimbal mounting Hardware (included): 1/4" x 20 x 3/4" long. Hex key 5/32"
- Mount base hardware: 1/4" x 20 x 2" long. Hex key 5/32"
- Pro/MEGA Mount four ear knob thread: 5/16" x 18 x 1 1/2" long
- MEGA Mount three ear clamp arm knob: 5/16" x18 x 1" long
- Extreme Mount knob thread: 3/8" x 16 x 2" long
What is the best way to install my mount?
We recommend thru bolting your mount to your boat.
Does my graph fit?
All graphs fit our mounts. If your holes do not align simply drill additional holes in the gimbal or the mount top plate. We pre drill our mounts for the most common brands. Please follow the recommended size guideline for each mount.
Do you include hardware to install my mount?
We include 1/4" x 20 x 3/4" stainless steel gimbal mounting hardware to mount your graph to our mount. You will need to purchase stainless hardware to mount to your boat. Typically 1/4" x 20 x 2" is what most installers use. The length that you need will be determined by the thickness of the fiberglass or aluminum that you are mounting to.
Can I use my mounts in salt water?
Yes! Salt Fog tests simulating 10 years of use in salt water were successfully conducted. We suggest that you treat your mounts like reels in salt water, wash them with fresh water and take them apart and lubricate any moving parts. Take care of them and they will take care of you.
What is your warranty?
GeigerTec Marine warranties our products from manufacturer defects for 30 days. Please do not return products without an RMA number.
Do you cover shipping or import charges?
We do not cover import or shipping charges, they are the responsibility of the Dealer or Customer.
Do you bill in USD or CAD?
We bill in USD.

Do I need to purchase a whole new Dash Mount if I want to go from a single graph to a dual dash setup with your Dash Mounts?
A Single Dash Mount can easily be converted to a Dual Dash Mount by simply purchasing an additional quick release assembly vs. buying an entire new dash mount. Similarly a Dual Dash Mount can be converted to a single dash by removing one of the quick release plates.
